秋の長雨や梅雨の湿度が高くなる季節は、
ダンボールは水分を標準状態（気温２３℃湿度50％）より多く含んでいます。
水分を多く含むことにより、ダンボールの圧縮強さに影響します。
例えば、標準状態より夏季の多湿時（気温３０℃湿度90％）では
水分の含まれる量は5～7％の差があります。
水分量は1％増えることにより圧縮の強さは10％低下しますので、
圧縮の強さは４～5割低下することが予想されます。
いつもお使いのダンボールが弱くなったと思われるかもしれませんが、この気候と関係しています。
この時期にダンボールを保管される際は、特に高温多湿の場所はさけてください。
またダンボール箱に商品を入れ、積み上げる際もお気をつけください。

In the high humidity of rainy season,cardboard boxes contain much more water than
usual,the standard condition being 23℃ with 50% humidity.
This standard is important because extra(or not enugh) moisture affects the strength of
perssed cardboard.
For example, a cardboard box in the summer rainy sezson at 30℃ with 90% humidity
contains awater increase of 5~7% compared to the standard condition.
The amount of water will increase by 1% and the strength of the press will decrease by
10%,therefore it can be expected that the cardboard boxes strengt will go down 40~
50%.
You might have notice that cardboard boxes get weaker in the rainy season.
It’s relatived to the weather.
So, the weather is like this,make sure not to store boxes in places with high temperature
andhigh humidity.
